God and Us: Mirrors
Mirror Neurons. We all have them. They fire when someone attunes to us. Notices us. Comes into our inner experience.
And it's essential for our development.
The back and forth.
The mirroring.
The "becoming one."
It makes me think of how Paul says that we all, with an unveiled face, like looking in a mirror at the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image.
Then there's the verse about looking into a glass, (literally a looking glass) or mirror darkly, but then face to face.
Think about this for a second. We see God in a... mirror?
What do you see when you look in a mirror?
Wait... yourself?!
What does it mean to see yourself darkly? What if it's living as who you're not. You're false self.
I used to know a guy that never cleaned his mirrors.
Toothpaste all over it. You could barely catch a tiny glimpse of yourself.
What if that's kind of like us? Living in our survival brain, projecting out fear, control, uncertainty.
It's a vibrational frequency—the frequency of fear.
But as we remember how to love, as we surrender, as we merge with something higher, the All, the Divine...
Our vibrational frequency changes.
Our bodies come into internal coherence.
And collectively, we begin to come into global coherence—
The vibrational frequency of love.
What if this is the mirror of seeing the Divine?
As you gaze into the mirror...
You see your own face...
Vibrating in the frequency of love.
